Soooo I have some bad news….and good news.

BAD NEWS….The FD△ is banning the sale of Hydroquinone to be sold in the US without a prescription (from what I understand, HQ is not banned overall, just need to see a Dr 1st and get a prescription for it). So the small over the counter percentage won’t be permitted anymore. I believe this is also happening with one of my favorite supplements called NAC (N Acetyl Cysteine). That’s already recently been pulled from the market.

More BAD NEWS…..For those of you who LOVE my favorite OTC dark spot/hyperpigmentation/melasma fade serum, FADE GEL 5, it will soon be off the market.😫 And I mean VERY SOON! PLEASE don’t be mad at me if it sells out fast. It will most likely will sell out fast once everyone knows they soon can’t get this anymore.

FADE GEL 5 is an amazing combination of 2% Hydroquinone, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Kojic Acid & Azelaic Acid. It is lightweight, layers super well under other serums, helps lighten and brighten dark spots and it is affordable compared to what a prescription costs! It is my FAVORITE OTC product for melasma (next to SPF of course).

The GOOD NEWS is if you want to STOCK UP before they all sell out, you can take 20% off with DISCOUNT CODE GRACEFULBEAUTY20 ➡️ CLICK HERE ➡️ https://bit.ly/2VHWEYV

While I do enjoy the 4% hydroquinone I can get from a Dermatologist (I don’t enjoy the price. Insurance won’t cover and it was $247 last time. Thank goodness for good rx but it was still over 100 bucks and not to mention my $30 copay to see the Dr and I had to wait 3 months for the appt on top of that.

Also lots of people don’t need 4% or can’t tolerate that high of a percentage. So to now get a low 2% dose that’s in my favorite over the counter melasma fading serum, you’d probably have to pay even more to get it compounded by a special pharmacy. I won’t get into the politics of this new rule because I keep politics off my channel (so please don’t leave political comments or I’m forced to delete them even though I love you all no matter what you believe…..but it’s mainly to prevent people from arguing.  I try to keep it light and fun on this page please🤗).

HQ when used correctly is perfectly safe. And from what my Dr said, no it doesn’t cause cancer. That was supposedly a study done on making rats EAT large amounts of it. Please don’t eat your melasma cream. 🤪

So if you love Fade Gel 5 serum as much as I do, last chance to stock up before it’s all gone.
